CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICY
All bookings are final and nonrefundable except as provided by this policy.
Any modifications or cancellations made within 14 days of the first day of the scheduled stay will result in forfeiture of the initial, full deposit.
Cancellations and changes may be made without penalty more than 14 days before the schedule stay.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT POLICY
Your check-in code to the cabin will be provided via email within 48 hours of your stay.
Check-in time is after 4PM; check out is at 11AM. Early check-in requests are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate guest requests.
Check in is a self check-in procedure. Your reservation email will have detailed driving directions and door access codes. Please print reservation confirmation so you will have detailed driving directions. Relying on retrieval via email while in the area is not advised.
CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES
- No need to take linens off of the beds
- Please start a load of towels
- Please start a load of dishes in the dishwasher
- Gather all trash and place it into the main trash can in the kitchen. If there is an overflow of trash please kindly take it out to the trash receptacles.
- Clean out the fridge and throw away any groceries you are not taking with you.
- Please lock all windows and doors upon your departure from the cabin.
- We would be grateful if you notified us upon your departure
CHILDREN POLICY
Rustic Luxury Camp welcomes families and guests of all ages. We expect all of our young guests to be respectful of their neighbors and the surrounding property while staying at Rustic Luxury Camp and for parents to keep a close eye on their children, especially around the canyon rim. Take additional consideration and care when bringing your younger children based on the inherent danger of the proximity to the cliff edge.
We ask that parents supervise children using the ladder to the loft and not allow any play or use of the ladder other than its intended purpose.
DOG POLICIES
Rustic Luxury Camp welcomes well-behaved dogs accompanied by their owners.
There is a 50 pound limit on dogs. There will be a nonrefundable $50.00 fee for the first dog and a nonrefundable $25 fee for a second dog. The maximum number of dogs allowed is 2. Please do not allow dogs on the furniture or beds. Sorry, but we do not allow cats or other pets.
- Dogs MUST be kept on a leash under owner supervision and may not be left unattended at any time.
- Guests are responsible to “clean up” after their dog. All dog waste must be bagged properly disposed of in a garbage receptacle.
- Noisy and unruly dogs are not allowed.
- Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended on the porch.
- Any injury or damage caused by your dog is solely your responsibility and you agree to fully indemnify and reimburse Rustic Luxury Camp for any damages or injuries caused by your dog to Rustic Luxury Camp or any other person or entity.
SMOKING POLICY
Rustic Luxury Camp is a non-smoking property. If you smoke inside the cabin, a minimum cleaning fee of $350.00 will be charged to your credit card. The non-smoking policy refers to cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, e-cigarettes and burning of candles.
FRIENDLY NEIGHBOR POLICY
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am.
Please be courteous to other guests around you. Loud, objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. Profanity or violence will not be tolerated. Inconsiderate guests will be asked to leave.
Please turn off all exterior lights at 10pm.
Palo Duro Canyon offers some stunning opportunities to star gaze. Please respect your neighbors ability to enjoy some of the darkest skies in Texas.
CANYON RIM POLICY
Our cabins are close to the canyon rim. This is a natural area that is subject to shifting soils, falling rocks and debris, rain, wind, and other weather conditions that may render it unstable and dangerous. All guests must maintain a safe distance from the edge of the cliff at all times. All guests accept responsibility for any injury from not maintaining a safe distance. There is signage around the perimeter of the canyon rim and boulders marking the boundaries, but you are solely responsible for assessing the area and ensuring you and your guests maintain a safe distance from the edge of rim. All outdoor activities involve certain inherent risk of injury or even death. It is expressly understood and agreed that n Rustic Luxury Camp shall not be liable for any damages or injury to you or any member of your party.
COMMON AREAS
Rustic Luxury Camp offers stunning views of Palo Duro Canyon and the guests are permitted to enjoy the views along the canyon rim. We will be creating an outdoor common area in the near future with bocce ball, horseshoes and other outdoor games.
MINIMUM STAY POLICY
There is no minimum stay requirement.
WILDLIFE POLICY
Due to the location of our cabins, guests may encounter wildlife or insects. Each property is professionally treated on a scheduled basis for interior and exterior pests. Do not feed wildlife you may see around the cabin or permit them to enter the cabin. We are not responsible for any wildlife encounters of any kind. Rustic Luxury Camp is not responsible for medical bills resulting from injuries resulting from encounters with wildlife.
SUPPLIES
We supply all our guest with ample supplies of paper goods, cleaning product and washing detergents. If additional supplies are needed, please reach out to us to restock anything you may need.
DAMAGE AND MISSING ITEMS
Please let us know right away if you break or damage something during your stay. The best way to do this is by sending us a message. If you can provide photos, that’s great, too. Being upfront about damage gives us as much time as possible to fix it before our next guest arrives. It also gives us a chance to agree upon a fair resolution. If you or your guests damage, destroy, or remove any furniture, fixture, linens, utensils, equipment, or other property of Rustic Luxury Camp, the repair or replacement cost will be assessed and billed to your credit card
TAXES AND FEES
All accommodations are subject to applicable taxes based on the nightly room and cleaning fee rate.
GUEST PRIVACY POLICY:
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. Registered guests who may have other guests staying or visiting them are responsible for providing driving directions and entry codes. Rustic Luxury Cabins will not provide this information to anyone other than the person/persons listed on the reservation.
SECURITY
You are responsible for your own security and the security of your property. You should use the provided locks and lock your vehicle. Do not leave personal items outside or unattended. Rustic Luxury Camp is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Do not deactivate any smoke alarms. Always follow any safety-related warnings for appliances, grills, or other provided tools or equipment.
KNOWING WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND AGREEMENT TO INDEMNIFY
BY LEASING OR ACCESSING THE PROPERTY OWNED BY RUSTIC LUXURY CAMP, YOU AS OUR GUEST, AND ON BEHALF OF ALL YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, AND VISITORS, ARE AGREEING AS FOLLOWS: I AGREE AND UNDERSTAND THAT RUSTIC LUXURY CABINS MAKES NO WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY, OR OF ANY ROADS, BUILDINGS, OR OTHER IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY. THIS DOCUMENT SERVES TO WARN ME THAT DANGEROUS CONDITIONS, RISKS AND HAZARDS DO EXIST ON THE PROPERTY. MY PRESENCE AND ACTIVITIES ON THE PROPERTY EXPOSE BOTH ME AND MY FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, VISITORS, AND PERSONAL PROPERTY TO DANGEROUS CONDITIONS, RISKS AND HAZARDS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, VENOMOUS SNAKES, INSECTS AND SPIDERS, EROSION AND GENERAL CONDITION OF THE LAND, CREATING ROUGH, HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS DRIVING AND WALKING CONDITIONS, WILD AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS THAT MAY BE DISEASED OR DANGEROUS, FLASH FLOODS, FIRES, AND FALLING HAZARDS. I RECOGNIZE THAT ANY OR ALL OF THESE CONDITIONS COULD RESULT IN MY SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH, OR THE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, AND VISITORS, I AM AWARE OF THESE FACTS AND EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL SUCH DANGERS, RISKS AND HAZARDS.
IN EXCHANGE FOR THE RIGHT TO LEASE AND ENTER THE PROPERTY, I, ON BEHALF OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, AND VISITORS, HEREBY RELEASE AND AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS RUSTIC LUXURY CABINS AND ITS OWNERS, HEIRS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASEES”) FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, CAUSES OF ACTION AND DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES, RESULTING FROM ANY ACCIDENT, INCIDENT OR OCCURRENCE ARISING OUT OF, INCIDENTAL TO, OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO MY USE OF THE PROPERTY AND ANY IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED THEREON, WHETHER OR NOT CAUSED BY RELEASEES’ NEGLIGENCE OR EVEN GROSS NEGLIGENCE.
